Le dépôt des candidatures à la Cena pour la présidentielle de 2021 se poursuit. Pour la troisième journée, de nouveaux potentiels candidats sont venus déposer leur dossier. Voici le point.
À l’opposé de la deuxième journée où aucun candidat ne s’est pointé à la Cena pour le dépôt de dossier de candidature, la troisième journée a été plus fructueuse. L’équipe installée par l’organe en charge des élections pour la réception des dossiers a, en effet, enregistré deux candidatures.
La première est celle du duo candidat du Parti des Forces cauris pour un Bénin émergent (FCBE). Accompagnés d’une forte délégation de cadres et militants du parti, Alassane Soumanou Djimba et son colistier Paul Hounkpè ont rempli les formalités officialisant leur candidature. Selon Alassane Soumanou Djimba, son parti a réuni et fourni toutes les pièces exigées pour le dépôt de candidature. Egalement, la FCBE a obtenu le nombre de parrainage nécessaire à la validation de son dossier.

La seconde candidature de la journée est celle de Victorin Dènonwoema avec pour colistier, Florentin Dovonon. Pasteur de profession, il avait annoncé son intention d’être candidat à la présidentielle 2021 en décembre 2020. Son dossier manque essentiellement des fiches de parrainage exigé par le code électoral. Au micro des journalistes, il a confié compter sur Dieu pour les obtenir. Et pour cause ! Sa candidature, selon ses dires, viendrait d’une révélation divine.

Au bilan et à la date du 3 février, la Cena a enregistré au total 4 dossiers de candidature. Les deux premiers ont été reçu la première journée de dépôt de candidature. Il s’agit notamment des dossiers d’un certain Patrice Simènou Ago et de l’ancien ministre Galiou Soglo.
